Manchester United had three players in international action on Saturday.
Casemiro
The Brazilian has had an outstanding season to date and there are rumours that United may even extend his contract at the end of the season.
The Brazilian veteran’s importance has continued to grow with his national side and he was once again crucial in their 2-0 victory over Senegal.
He scored his side’s second of the game when a clever run at the back post took him away from Senegal’s defence. Casemiro took the ball down well and curled a fine effort into the net to give the Brazilians some breathing space.
The midfielder played the entire 90 minutes and made one key pass in the match. He also had a passing accuracy of 91%.
The 33 year old also missed another big chance to grab a brace. He was strong defensively winning two tackles and six ground duels in the match. He also won one aerial contest.
