For the Mac and Cheese
- 12 oz elbow macaroni or your choice of short pasta
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese freshly grated
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Honey Pepper Chicken
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into strips
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ½ –1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper adjust to taste
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: pinch of chili flakes for added heat

Step 2: Prepare the Chicken
