Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth optional but recommended
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Red pepper flakes to taste
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms or a handful of fresh spinach

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken:

  • Pat chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Sear the Chicken:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should be 165°F). Remove from the pan and set aside.

Make the Garlic Sauce:

  • Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes to slightly thicken.

Combine and Simmer:

  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and simmer for another 3–5 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Add Parmesan if using.

Garnish and Serve:

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve hot with rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, or veggies of choice.
