Ingredients
  

For the Beef:

  • 250 g rib-eye or flank steak
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Ramen and Sauce:

  • 2 packs fresh or instant ramen noodles
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water or broth
  • cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or honey optional, for balance
  • Salt to taste

Toppings and Garnish:

  • 2 soft-boiled eggs halved
  • 2 scallions sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Optional: sautéed mushrooms spinach, or shredded carrots

Instructions
 

Step 1: Marinate the Beef

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and minced garlic.
  • Add beef and coat thoroughly. Let marinate for at least 20 minutes (or up to 1 hour for deeper flavor).

Step 2: Grill the Beef

  • Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the beef for 4–6 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired doneness.
  • Set aside to rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

Step 3: Cook the Ramen

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  • Cook ramen noodles according to the package instructions.
  • Drain and set aside.

Step 4: Make the Creamy Spicy Sauce

  • In a pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in gochujang and soy sauce; cook for 1 minute.
  • Add water or broth and stir well.
  • Lower heat and pour in heavy cream, stirring until smooth.
  • Add sugar or honey if desired to balance heat. Simmer for another minute and remove from heat.

Step 5: Combine and Serve

  • Toss the cooked noodles with the creamy spicy sauce until well coated.
  • Place the noodles in bowls and top with sliced grilled beef.
  • Garnish with halved soft-boiled eggs, scallions, and sesame seeds.
  • Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
