- 1 ½ cups chopped pecans
- 1 ½ cups light brown sugar packed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
Optional:
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, flour, and salt (and cinnamon if using).
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and serve warm or at room temperature. Optionally, drizzle with maple syrup or glaze for extra indulgence.
